Welcome to the Fil-Am website.  This is a community website for the Filipino-American associations and organizations in the states of Oregon and S.W. Washington, Clark County area.

The purpose of this site is to help promote the Filipino culture and to preserve the heritage for the next generation of Filipino-Americans.

Philippine Ambassador Visits Portland, Oregon

 

 

 

Philippine Ambassador to the United States, the Honorable Willy Gaa, was in Portland on August 8th as the special guest speaker at the annual Council of Filipino American Association (CFAA) convention.

While in the State of Oregon, he had an opportunity to meet with Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski and Portland Mayor-elect Sam Adams.  He also participated in a charity golf tournament to benefit the Gilas program.
